New Wines, New Site

Bayernmoor Farm At Dawn

One of the things that defines Bayernmoor is our ability to adapt and remain positive through trying times. When the pandemic first hit we chose to take the time that the quarantine gave us and evaluate our website and commerce platform. As you can tell, we decided to revamp our site from the ground up. Not only is the design sleeker and easier to navigate, but you will find a plethora of information for each of our wines, a more user-friendly customer interface, and, most exciting, new wines since you last looked at the site.

Bayernmoor Cellars 2019 Rose 2018 Chardonnay 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2019 Rosé harkens back to the French roots of this style of wine; Fruit forward, refreshing, and just the slightest touch of sweetness. This year we sourced our fruit exclusively from Six Prong vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA and we could not have asked for more perfect fruit. Notes of grapefruit, strawberry, watermelon, and rose petals make this gorgeous wine a must have for summer.

The 2018 Chardonnay has been available to wine club members for some time now, and we are now excited to make it available to everyone. This vintage is a blend of Celilo and Otis vineyards, both historic sites in their own right and both grow highly coveted fruit. This cuvée has just a touch of oak to give it some body but not overwhelm the balanced flavors of dried grass, honeysuckle, and fresh pair. We poured this as a sneak peek at one of the most popular events in Seattle and it was voted the best white wine of the evening. It also garnered a Double Gold award from the prestigious Seattle Wine Awards.

Lastly, we are thrilled to finally release our 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon. Again, this wine has already been featured in our Wine Club, but now, nearly a year after bottling, we are ready to make it live on our site and at our winery. Sourced exclusively from Klipsun vineyard, which many consider to be the top vineyard in the state, this wine shines with traits you would expect from a Red Mountain wine. Refined tannin, great structure, and full of flavor. Aromas of cedar, raspberry, and chocolate are followed by mesquite, ripe cherry, and coffee on the palate.

We hope that you enjoy our new site and our new wines. We will have more exciting news coming your way soon and, in the meantime, continue to produce world class wines. We hope you stay safe and healthy during this time and we look forward to seeing your smiling faces soon.
