Our 2018 vintage is a 50/50 blend of Grenache and Mourvedre. The Mourvedre gives a beautiful purple undertone to the coral pink hues of the Grenache. In the glass, you will find aromas of strawberry, peach, guava, and wild berries. The palate echoes the nose and adds a tinge of sweetness and crisp acidity. Like our 2017 vintage, this rosé is truly summer in a bottle and the added complexity means it is equally at home in a picnic basket or in a wine pairing event.
Clifton and Northridge vineyarda are very warm sites and we feel that it is prefect for Rhone varietals. That is why we chose them to source Grenache and Mourvedre grapes for our 2018 Rosé.
Left on the skins for 4 hours to absorb color.
Food Pairing Notes
Being that this wine is summer in a bottle, it goes well with your favorite summertime foods. Pair with BBQ, tropical fruit salads, cheese and charcuterie.
